So it's the snowstorm of the century... Snowmageddon... Snowpocalypse... The Snowtorious B.I.G.... We're definitely snowed in, and Bill is recovering from the most ridiculously awful food poisoning ever. Big news everywhere. But more importantly, WE NOW HAVE A DESK!!!
Recall the old desk... a clusterfuck of wires and cables and tools and mess and baby hazards, with no hope of fitting anywhere in our house. Recall the old bare wall in the kitchen/dining/living room with tons of boxes and crap sitting piled along it. The new desk arrived about two weeks ago, but one of the pieces had an error so we had to order a replacement part, which finally arrived yesterday. We finished assembling it today, and Bill of course immediately set up all the computers inside it.
Behold... the most awesome desk ever.
Doesn't the ceiling lamp kind of look like a halo? And we didn't even have to take down the Obama calendar!
Next steps: clean out the office to make room for the nursery, and buy a kitchen table. And maybe make a snowman.
